THE SENSE OF AN ENDING

A man leads a reclusive and quiet existence until long buried secrets from his past force him to face the flawed recollections of his younger self, the truth about his first love and the devastating consequences of decisions made a lifetime ago.

This adaptation of Julian Barnes’s Booker prize-winning novel stars Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling and Harriet Walter.

Pakistan-born comedian Kumail Nanjiani and grad student Emily Gardner fall in love but struggle as their cultures clash. When Emily contracts a mysterious illness, Kumail finds himself forced to face her feisty parents, his family’s expectations, and his true feelings.

Based on the true story of Kumail Najiani and his wife Emily Gordon (who co-wrote the script), the film also stars Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, and Ray Romano.
